The Edinburgh Futures Institute (EFI) is located in the restored Old Royal Infirmary on Lauriston Place, central Edinburgh, near Edinburgh Waverley station. Access is easy via Lothian Buses (e.g., Lauriston Place stops) or a short taxi/tram ride from Edinburgh Airport.

The Premier inn, Lauriston Place, is close to the venue. You can also book anything in central Edinburgh, search the Premier inn website for hotels in Edinburgh.
The All Cor hotel group covers IBIS and Novotel hotels and has some more or less affordable ones centrally in Edinburgh.
Hostels
Edinburgh is famous for its hostels too, and some of them have private rooms, for example Edinburgh Backpackers private rooms.
Airbnb: Airbnb thrives in Central Edinburgh, especially in New Town
By Air: Edinburgh International Airport (EDI) is located 12km from the city centre.
Airport Transfers: Take the Edinburgh Tram (to Princes St/West End, cost £7.90, around 30-35 minutes) or Airlink bus 100 (to city centre) for easy access to the area (around 25 minutes, cost is £8.50 one way)
By Train: Edinburgh Waverley is the closest main station (approx. 15-20 min walk or short bus ride).
By Bus: Lothian Buses serve the local area extensively.
By Tram: Edinburgh Trams run from the airport through the city centre.
Taxis: Are readily available throughout the city. From the airport to EFI it takes between 20-25 minutes and can cost anything from £27-£40. The taxi rank is located in the East Terminus which is short walk from the arrivals terminal.
Walking: The EFI is centrally located and highly walkable from the Old Town, Grassmarket, and Princes Street. Please note If you book anything below the line of Princess street in Edinburgh, then you have to climb the hill each morning. Don't forget the hilly geography of Edinburgh when booking.
